Long News: Poetry & Poetics is a revival of the influential print journal originally founded by Barbara Henning in 1990. The design for the new digital incarnation reflects the journal’s legacy of poetic community while supporting a contemporary editorial vision. The site architecture includes custom CSS and JavaScript for smooth navigation, flexible layouts, and subtle interactive details—built to house an evolving collection of voices and conversations in poetry.

Mud, Blood, and Ghosts by Julie Carr
“HR quickly and fully understood my vision for the Mud, Blood, and Ghost website. Then she took it even further, offering surprising and beautiful design ideas. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.” —Julie Carr
Technically built as a sub-section to her larger author site, this website needed its own branding to match the published book and navigation system separate from her main website.

      Overland by Sasha Steensen
“HR is a true visionary, and I am certain my work will continue to benefit from our collaboration for years to come.” —Sasha Steensen
Technically built as a sub-section to her larger author site, this website needed its own branding and navigation system separate from her main website. And because the book in still in process, this website needed to be agile and able to adjust to the project’s evolving multimedia dimensions.
